My Story. . . Part 2

Surviving Bloc.io. . . that’s what I’m trying to do now. I don’t like that ‘surviving’ is the term that comes to mind. But that’s what you do when you struggling through something right? I gotta say, there were several moments in week 3 and 4 where I was in a near panic trying to get what Bloc was throwin’ down (yes ONLY 3 weeks in!). I tried getting some help from mentors in Slack, but they don’t like to just give you answers. Even if it’s early enough in your Bloc career, that that’s exactly what you need. I tried reviewing some of the web pages they suggested. But it just seemed like what I was reading was more confusing than helpful. Their discussions/explanations used too many terms/methods/processes that I hadn’t learned anything about yet. So, I turned to some colleagues for help. Thankfully, they were able to talk me down off the edge! Sounds like the ‘edge’ is a pretty popular place for Bloc students! Anyway, I learned what I needed to learn (at least I think I did!) and it’s onward and upward from here!
